TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: September 2026

1. ABOUT US

SurroundShop.co.uk is operated by DSD Supplies Ltd, a business based in Scotland.

Throughout these Terms, “SurroundShop”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to DSD Supplies Ltd.

These Terms apply to your use of SurroundShop.co.uk and to purchases made through our website.

By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. USING OUR WEBSITE

You may use this website for lawful purposes only.

You must not:

• misuse or interfere with the operation or security of the website;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
• introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful material;
• use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes; or
• copy or commercially exploit website content without our permission.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or other operational reasons.

3. PRODUCTS

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours and specifications shown on the website are accurate.

Because products are displayed on different screens and devices, the actual colour of a product may vary slightly from how it appears on your screen.

Minor manufacturing variations may also occur.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, accessories or other items shown in photographs are not included with the product.

4. PRODUCT SUITABILITY AND INSTALLATION

Our socket surrounds and light switch surrounds are designed to fit around compatible UK electrical fittings.

Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions and compatibility before ordering.

Installation should be carried out safely and in accordance with any instructions provided.

If fitting a product requires loosening, removing or working around an electrical socket or switch plate, the electrical supply should be isolated where appropriate and suitable safety precautions taken.

If you are unsure about electrical safety or installation, you should consult a qualified electrician.

5. PRICES

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).

Prices shown to UK consumers include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown before you complete your order.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

If we discover an obvious pricing error after an order has been placed, we will contact you before dispatch.

6. ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

A contract between you and us is formed when we accept and process your order for dispatch.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• a product is unavailable;
• there is an obvious pricing or product information error;
• payment cannot be authorised;
• we suspect fraud or misuse; or
• we are unable to deliver to the address provided.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

7. PAYMENT

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Orders may be subject to payment verification and fraud-prevention checks.

8. DELIVERY

We deliver in accordance with the delivery options and information shown on our website.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we specifically agree otherwise.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, although we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and correct.

For further information, please refer to our Delivery Policy.

9. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Consumers purchasing online have cancellation and return rights under UK consumer law.

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to cancel an order, return goods and request a refund.

Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refunds Policy limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

10. PERSONALISED OR MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Where a product is made to your specification or clearly personalised, your statutory right to cancel because you have changed your mind may not apply.

This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

11. RISK AND OWNERSHIP

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive them.

Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.

12. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES

From time to time we may offer promotions or discount codes.

Unless stated otherwise:

• promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash;
• only one discount code may be used per order;
• offers may be subject to minimum order values or product exclusions; and
• promotions may be changed or withdrawn before an order is placed.

Once an order has been accepted, any valid promotion applied to that order will be honoured.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content of SurroundShop.co.uk, including text, product designs, photographs, graphics, logos and other materials, is owned by or licensed to DSD Supplies Ltd unless stated otherwise.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our website content without prior written permission.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties, including payment providers, delivery companies and ecommerce technology providers.

We are not responsible for the content or availability of independent third-party websites.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

15. OUR LIABILITY

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
• any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms.

We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or business interruption, where products are purchased for personal consumer use.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

16. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Such events may include severe weather, transport disruption, postal or courier disruption, industrial action, power failures, telecommunications failures, government action or other unforeseen events.

If such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact.

17. PRIVACY

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please read our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use and protect your personal data.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The Terms that apply to your purchase are those in force when your order is placed.

Any changes will be published on this website.

19. SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

20. WAIVER

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.

21. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by Scots law.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you also retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from bringing proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable UK consumer law.

22. CONTACT US

If you have any questions about these Terms, an order or our products, please contact us through the Contact Us page on SurroundShop.co.uk.
